We are a small construction company of approximately 20 employees and 10 computers. We had contracted a local computer service shop to install a new data network and move our existing antiquated land-line phone system into a centralized cabinet with our network equipment. The experience was an absolute nightmare, from the time of installation, continuing for the next 5 years. That is until we made the decision to ditch our old vendor and enlist the services of Qx Networks.
Once contacted, Qx Networks came out and sat down with us, taking time to listen to our concerns and gather our needs. Afterwards they performed a detail assessment of our network and our business. When their assessment was completed, they promptly provided us with recommendations and a range of options to meet our budget.
We started off by having Qx replace our old phone system. They implemented a great VoIP phone system, designed and customized to meet the current and future needs of our business as it continues to grow. We have had our VoIP system now for over 2 years. Qx continues to provide responsive service and helps us out with any questions we might have about our system.
Our second project for Qx was to fix our poorly designed and failing network. They started by getting our problematic network under control, until the new equipment we ordered arrived and was ready for install. Once the equipment arrived they did an excellent job installing it, communicating with us every step of the way to make sure that they had all the information they needed to make the switch over as smooth as possible. They took us from a an old PC running our Quickbooks and file shares to a new more secure and reliable solution using 2 redundant Windows servers, using a NAS to store and backup all of our data. After getting our data and storage needs under control they installed a new firewall and wireless network.
The improvements Qx made to our business has relieved us of so much stress. Before they upgraded us we were constantly having problems with network and phones. Because of bad experiences with previous vendors we had no one to go to for help and almost lost hope of getting our issues resolved. They not only rescued us, they helped restored our hope in customer service.

QX Networks has been a valued business partner for 10+ years. I first met QX through a telecom broker when we were switching phone service. The changeover was supposed to be just swapping a couple cables and turning up the new service… but that ended up not being the case. Enter the expertise of QX. Within 15 minutes after an “Aha moment” by John Hamilton, and a couple of configuration changes we were up and running. It was at that time we became aware that QX also provided voice and data systems. About five years later we contacted QX to see what was out there. John came out, gathered our information, then took me personally out to meet with several different high end providers to receive a demo and provide comparisons. After reviewing each of the systems, at the behest of John, we ended up going with Allworx VoIP system. The Allworx was a much less expensive option with all the bells and whistles of the others. Qx provided a seamless install with 80+ phones. Around three years later, our business unit separated into two locations. Another call to QX, yielded an additional yet smaller Allworx box, 15 more phones, an MPLS tunnel tying the locations together, IP calling where necessary, soft phone capability, 4 digit extension dialing to wherever in the world we put an Allworx phone (China).
